[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use a humidifier all year long. Winter and spring are my months for allergies. I've always loves Vicks warm steam humidifiers. This one is small enough to leave on a nightstand. Also has a soft night light. Easy to clean and store when not in use. For added bonus you can get the Vicks vaporizer stuff that really opens up your nasal passages.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vicks warm steam vaporizer is the best!! A Brand you can trust at a great price. I have always used Vicks vapor rub in my vaporizers. There is a spot for the rub and also a place to put 2 pads. It came with 2 pads to try.

This vaporizer has been a life saver for me. I’ve tried other vaporizers but they don’t work very well. This. vaporizer has a wonderful steam that works well with Vick’s
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, let me say that this did produce steam, and it did create a menthol scent that filled my livingroom. However, overall, I was not really impressed with this humidifier. When reading the instructions, it says to make sure that it is on a waterproof surface, and to cover surfaces and items nearby that aren't waterproof, this made me think that it was going to produce a LOT of steam.... It didn't. It produced a very small amount of steam, in fact it was difficult to even see the steam being produced. My wife has a very small essential oil diffuser that puts off just as much or more steam than this rather large device. That brings me to the size, it is big, for an item that has to be on a waterproof surface, not near anything that could be damaged by water (electronics), at least a foot from any wall and not accessible to children or pets, it's a big item and I found it hard to find a place for it to sit that met the requirements. I don't really know why it has to be so big either, the amount of water it holds seems like it would be enough to have it running non-stop for a minimum of 24-hours without refilling, I had mine on for about 4 hours and the water level didn't go down much. Then there are the scent pads that came with the humidifier, and yes they are just scent pads, not medicated at all, although you can apparently get a medicated product to use with the device. What is weird to me is that the instructions make it very clear that these scent pads are not to be touched by skin and that if they touch your skin you must make sure to wash it off immediately.... this stuff is being spread around in the air and breathed in by my family, but it's not safe for skin? What is in these scent pads? Overall, I didn't notice any real change in my house other than the smell of Vicks, and if I want the smell of Vicks, I'll just buy some vaporub.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last week my 2 year old had a horrible respiratory infection which left him a horrible cough, which got worst at night so I remembered I had this wonderful vaporizer. It boils the water and produces steam vapor, the Steam vapor helps temporarily relieve cough and congestion, which was a total life saver during that horrible week of illness. The steam vapor that it releases is warm to the touch. The vaporizer automatically shut off when the water reaches minimum level and it has a great large night light. It has between 18 to 24 hours of operation with a 1.5 gallon capacity .It also included a sample of the Vapopads for even more comfort. It comes in 2 parts for easy clean, I clean mine after every use for more durability. The only con that I found was that it better suited for a small to medium room. I would recommend this vaporizer any it totally is a live saver.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to help my daughter reach better when she is sick. When I first filled the humidifier up and plugged it in, it didn’t work. I guess I have low minerals in my water. The direction said to add table salt. I needed to add 1/2 teaspoon to the water to make it produce steam. I added a 1/8 of a teaspoon at a time, stirred it and plugged it back in and waited the 10-15 minutes to see if I added enough. When I filled up the humidifier it lasted all night. I put it near my daughters bed on a laundry basket so it was closer to her head. She said she could breath better in the morning after having it run all night in her room.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this humidifier during the perfect time actually. I had a very bad cold and was just miserable. This humidifier is easy to use, comes with everything needed for first use, and made me sleep better while fighting my cold. It's the perfect size for my bedroom, doesn't make a lot of noise, easy to clean and put together and even has a night light!
