The 1Lwith tea strainer fits smaller grip & lighter weight than the 1.8L that I unfortunately returned due to large grip size & weight without water would of being a burn hazard for frail elderly.

Love that the lid comes off

So many electric kettles do not have a lid that comes off it only lifts up, which is impossible to fill from a refrigerator waterline. This one has a lid that comes off so it’s extremely easy.

It is a beautiful teapot with a filter added

It heats up water fast and also has a nice filter added, I had to replace my larger teapot because the seal went bad but it lasted over a year.
