I do not use the infuser, so I cannot comment on that, but this is the fourth Chefman kettle I have purchased, either for myself or others. This one has a simple on/off switch. I also have one with temperature control for different types of teas. It's a great feature!

This metal has been amazing for boiling water fast! It’s an easy clean up, very quiet, and i love the infuser for coffee and teas! This has been great.
