I do not use the infuser, so I cannot comment on that, but this is the fourth Chefman kettle I have purchased, either for myself or others. This one has a simple on/off switch. I also have one with temperature control for different types of teas. It's a great feature!

Excellent product heats water so fast I have to check to see if it's really hot and it's very hot it's boiling hot it's so hot that's amazingly hot.
