Having trouble removing the tea infuser from the lid. Directions say to remove by twisting and sliding, but doesn't work.

It was a gift from a friend for my new place. I love it as it works fast and great. The infuser is also a plus for loose teas.

This kettle performs perfectly and the infuser! I didn’t even know I wanted it. I just wanted the kettle but the infuser is now being used nightly! This is a product well worth the money. Buy it, you won’t be sorry. It also looks pretty.
