I purchased this unit a month ago and I am impressed with how well it lowers the humidity in my basement. The only thing that would make it better would be to allow the customer to adjust the 3 % swing on the built in humidistat to a higher swing %. Once the set level is reached the system seems to short cycle 7 minutes on then 7 minutes off to reach the 3% swing. I have setup a 1 hour on and two hour off Timer setting within the system to help with this and it maintains humidity well while using the timer while reducing short cycling.

I bought a 110 year old home that has partial crawl space of about 1200 square feet & 1200 square feet of concrete basement connecting to crawl space. I couldn’t be in the basement for 1 minute as I couldn’t breathe from the moisture & mold spores floating in the air. After 1 week of running the dehumidifier the air in the basement is noticeably cleaner. It’s keeping up with our fall rains. I’m planning installing another unit as 3 basement specialists told me they can’t encapsulate the crawl spaces so Moiswell is my only saving grace to keep the basement dry. Never used any of the expensive aprilaire units but Moiswell is 1/4th the price & works great!

Installed about 3 weeks ago and very impressed. It’s much more quiet than my previous unit and pulls out water like a champ. Just wish the remote that I purchased worked for this unit but it doesn’t. Company say that one is in the works.

Powerful and compact

I was surprised by this sturdy commercial feel but is still compact enough to fit my very tight attic. I will replace the level feet myself with casters. The humidity control is simple to set, and the automatic restart feature is a nice touch.

Works great in our crawl space

This is a solid dehumidifier for my basement. The controls are easy to understand, and I really like being able to set the humidity level and let the unit handle the rest. but I need to lift the unit to drain the condensate.

Simple setup and no bucket to empty

Setup was pretty straightforward. I connected the drain hose, set the desired humidity, and that was basically it. For anyone who wants a dehumidifier that can stay in a basement or crawl space without constantly checking a bucket, this is a convenient setup.
