[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've enjoyed the quality of Pfaltzgraff for over 35 years. I passed my dished down to my grandson and purchased the Stella pattern. The dishes were not consistent in patter and had smeared glaze on some pieces. They did send a replacement box to me but it had the same problems. I also had to sand the bottom of each piece because they were very rough and scratched my table. No where near the quality that I have come to expect from this company.

Disappointed in Pfaltzgraff

I was disappointed that the dishes did not have a high glaze on them. I bought a black set thinking that you would not see cuts and scratches from knoves that were visible on to my old Mikasa set.I would expect that dishes would be made anticipating that food was going to be cut on it, but this set was not the answer to my prayers.
