Excellent espresso maker

It is simple to use, which comes in handy for those busy mornings when I need to focus on the day at hand. The construction is well-thought out as the knobs and dials are easy to see and utilize. I can measure my preferred strength and have a cup in minimal time. The resulting product is rich and robust, we prefer it to purchasing drinks at major coffee chains. I am saving so much time and money by using this appliance with the added bonus of superior results. The device itself is compact and doesn't take up valuable counterspace. It is sleek and modern looking, with top quality materials. Clean up is a breeze, much better than complicated appliances I've tried in the past. I would highly recommend to others!

Feels flimsy, don't expect to last long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Mr. Coffee espresso maker to test, and have used it a few times so far. For context, I have a vintage italian espresso machine that I typically use daily, and which makes great espresso (and espresso-based drinks), so my comparison bar is pretty high.
Upon unboxing this, my first thought was just how much plastic there was, which seems incongruous with the idea of high pressure required to make espresso. The answer there is that this makes something reminiscent of espresso, but doesn't actually get to a high enough pressure to make true espresso- but it's stronger than drip coffee, and would be good for making cuban coffee as advertised. It makes something like espresso, and could be a good stepping stone for someone to try out making "espresso", cappuccinos and lattes, but I wouldn't expect this machine to hold up to daily use for more than a year, if that- although this is pretty inexpensive so may not be a bad investment for someone who wants to dabble.

I love that it doesn’t take up much counter space. learning to use it was really simple for someone who has never used an espresso machine. I had no issues figuring it out. The coffee taste very good to me. Looking forward to experimenting with different flavors and drinks. would definitely recommend if you wanting explore beyond a regular cup of coffee!
