Saves me from buying coffee at fancy shops

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is professional grade without the cost. First, the design is sleek and modern, it looks good and stylish in my kitchen.
Then how it works- the 4-shot feature is perfect, two shots each for me and the husband, really gives us that coffee house feel and flavor, and it’s that extra boost we need. The steam function creates a creamy froth for cappuccinos and lattes, giving my drinks a professional touch.
What I love most is the simplicity of use. Even if you're not a barista, you can easily master this machine.
The espresso quality is fantastic – bold, aromatic, and with a beautiful crema. I don’t need anything else now with this machine

Easy to use, makes great espresso!

I’ve been using my Keurig to make him double espressos and it just wasn’t cutting it for him. He said it didn’t taste right. We don’t drink, so we use our “bar” area for coffee/tea appliances. I got some espresso roasted ground coffee from the grocery store and made my hubby a test espresso using the Mr. Coffee Steam Espresso Maker. It was a success! He loved it! If you truly want the classic espresso taste, you have to brew it correctly with the right equipment for the job. It’s just like going to a fancy coffee shop without the hefty price tag. A win! I love the frother addition too for when I want a cappuccino. Yum!

Compact, affordable espresso maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is a step up for anyone wanting to experiment with espresso based drinks, especially with steaming milk. This isn’t in anyway comparable to a commercial espresso machine, or even a home Breville, but it’s very functional and you can make some fun drinks without having to spend money outside the house! I haven’t yet gotten the espresso to brew like a true espresso; you mostly get strong coffee without a crema. I will keep playing around with grind size and tamping. The “tamper” on the bottom of the spoon included doesn’t work as a tamper (no flat, even pressure), but finding a replacement might make a difference. I’ve gotten the milk steamer to work much better if you tip the machine back to get the steamer at the proper angle in the milk jug. The steamer will at first spit water when it’s warming up, but works much better on the second steam or after having made espresso. I think with a little more practice, I can get some barista quality results from this machine, but for general coffee and frothy milk lovers, this machine is great from the get-go!
