Hard to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes a decent espresso but the machine itself is so light it’s nearly impossible to lock and unlock the brew basket safely. If the base was weighted somehow it would be so much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small, and compact. This has to be one of the easiest espresso machines out. Everything is labeled clearly, and the operations are self-explanatory. It does not take long to brew, nor for the wand to create steam. This is a staple on my coffee bar

Saving me $$$

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little machine. I’ve never owned an espresso maker, and the only time I’ve ever drank anything like that we’re at the coffee shops. It’s so easy to use and drinks are so delicious. Just by using this at home I have already saved my family $20 a week from us going and getting cappuccinos and espresso at the expensive coffee shops.

Affordable & Quick!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a decent espresso maker for beginners starting out making espresso. I don't think it can make the best espresso but if you want something simple and less expensive it gets the job done.
This does not come with a good tamper to evenly press the grounds into the portafilter basket. Instead you have to use the back end of the measuring spoon they give you. This is not an effective tool for that and no matter how hard I try I can't use it to get everything evenly pressed. You'll always have coffee grounds on the edge of the basket which leads to bad tasting coffee. Would definitely recommend buying a tamper to use with it, 50mm seems to be the best size for this. Anything bigger won't fit.
With the milk frother, its easy to get warm milk to add to your coffee but I'm not really able to get a good milk foam to make a good cappuccino or latte.
The space under the portafilter is a little small so it can be kind of hard to fit larger cups. You'll either need to put the cup under before the portafilter or tilt the cup a little so it fits. Removing the portafilter is also a little annoying because the machine doesn't have good grip on the counter so it can slide around when you try to insert or remove it. But its not a big deal as long as you hold the machine steady. Overall, the espresso machine is good to start learning but the consistency is little to none in the coffee that are made. It’s nice that it’s so small and easy to move around if you need to clean or travel. I would only recommend if you don’t like much variation and are looking for a quick espresso without much thought.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
