[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used it almost every day. I have baked, broiled and waiting to use the air fryer anyday now. Cooking time is cut short using this, than an stove.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a week ago and I've tried so many items. Toast was great, fries were good and I haven't tried baking with it yet, but this is such a great size. Baked potatoes will be awesome...I'm sure. I can't wait.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was leery that one product could cook several different ways and be good at all of them. Was I surprised: YES! It can toast, bake, broil, and airfry all excellently. Smart looking too. Easy to clean. Will make a great wedding/shower gift.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my nearly 70 years on this earth, I have never owned a toaster oven until now. I did not know what I have been missing. This is one mean multi tasking machine. Being a household of 2 people, smaller portions that usually went in the oven can now be had in less time, using less energy and creating less heat which is quite important here in Florida. We have toasted, broiled, baked, air fryed and reheated with great ease. Clean up is a snap, and the controls are very easy to grasp and turn which is important. The curved back and front which allows for a 12" pizza is so smart, the product designers are to be recommended for thinking like consumers. Once again Hamilton Beach has delivered a winner for all households.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had forgotten how useful a toaster oven could be. Now, that I’m trying to get away from using a microwave, the toaster oven will be more useful!
Instead of frying pancakes, I mix the batter, and spread it in a low-sided rectangular pan. After preparing, 1 cup of dry pancake mix, it fit perfectly in the baking pan. 350 degrees for 10 minutes, and I had pancakes!
I next wanted to Air Fry potatoes. Hash Browns sounded good, so I looked for recipes. Finding decent recipes for the air fryer on the Internet is a real challenge! The recipe I found, didn’t really work. Finally, I did get Hash Brown potatoes, and they were really good. I’m only going to be looking at trusted Internet recipe sites.
Instead of using the microwave, to heat up a left-over casserole, I used the toaster oven. It worked perfectly!
In the refrigerator, I have homemade cookie dough, ready to bake. When in a hurry, I would “bake” them in the microwave, which didn’t make very good cookies! Now, I’m using the Bake Mode.
As soon as I get some chicken parts, I’ll be making “fried” chicken, but only after I find a good recipe.
I can’t remember when I’ve broiled anything. I’ll be looking for a recipe that requires broiling, so I can try that function.
I don’t eat much bread, so I’ll probably not use the Toast Mode.
I’m more than happy with the Bake Mode and the Air Fryer Mode.
Soon, I’ll be happily eating “fried chicken” and “French Fries!”
I look forward to getting a lot of use, from this toaster oven!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have baked a few thing in the oven and they all came out just fine. Crust was nice and brown on the pot pie. The air fryer I have only used to cook store bought French fries and they came out nice and crisp. Anxious to try a big pizza since the back will accommodate a 12 inch one. Now my two things I wasn't real happy with is the controls to me they are some what hard to see and you have to turn several knobs to do things. Would rather not have to do so many turns on different knobs. Also wish it came with a few recipes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received to evaluate. 1- First tried Tater-Tots - Air Fried nicely & crisp. 2- Next air fried Eggplant Parm slices & it held the entire eggplant cut in circles - tasty. 3- Next decided to do chicken wings - 3# bag was too much for crisper tray, so since I already had a basket air fryer, I put the rest in that - wanted to compare time & crispness - took twice as long to air fry in the Hamilton Beach Air Fryer mode & they did not get brown & crispy before reaching done temp. 4- Next, baked filled biscuits I made as breakfast biscuits & apple filled biscuits - they came out OK - toasted them later when wanted to serve them.
I was disappointed in the size of the Hamilton Beach unit when I opened the box. When I set it up after reading the brief instructions - the dials were difficult to use. The print/marking by the dials is too small - where I set it to use, I had to use a flashlight. There was no booklet of recipes to get me started. The broiler tray is too small to catch the drippings from the food in the air fryer basket. The air fryer funchtion is not as efficient as my older basket type air fryer.
If I had seen this Hamilton Beach unit in a store, I would not have purchased it - it was too small & the numbers by the dials are too small to easily read them. If I had purchased it & tried it out, I would have returned it.
I was disappointed, because I had hoped to have a unit all in one to replace functions of 3 separate units I already have to save space. I will put it on the shelf in the pantry to use when other appliances are being used so I can have some things done all at the sane time.
Thanks for the opportunity to try out the Hamilton Beach Sure-Crisp Air Fry Toaster Oven. Your other products I have evaluaated from you are super & still in use by me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Hamilton Beach Sure Crisp Toaster Oven for a short time but find it very convenient to have a all in one toaster oven. Toast comes out evenly and fries come out crisp and tasty. It matches my stainless steel appliances and is a enhancement to my kitchen. I would highly recommend this toaster oven.
