It's nice to be able to evacuate different size packages at the same time and I especially like the ability to cut them in two sections if desired.

These bags are great! They come in a roll so you can make the size you need plus you can separate the items into portions. (1/2 in each side). When you seal it up, you can leave them together or you can separate them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love these bags! I frequently portion out meat leftovers into 3-4 oz portions and freeze, and then can easily thaw out and bring with me for a healthy snack on my way home from work or at work. This makes the process so much easier and faster - thank you!

Too small for anything

I actually ordered these by accident and I didn't open them until I needed new bags The slots of the portion control bags are so small I haven't found anything that I can use them for at all. Unfortunately I had already thrown away the receipt or I would have sent them back so far they are totally worthless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had a FoodSaver appliance for the last 22 years at least. It's the best appliance out there for people like myself, a single person, living alone. FoodSaver makes it possible to buy things in bulk, and most recently, using the portion pack bags made short work of a 14-count package of hotdogs, each snug in its own little vacuum bag. The portion pack bags seem less wasteful than making your own and I can see packing meat in one half and a vegetable or side dish in the other for an easy "TV dinner".
Another advantage to the portion pack bags is that they cut the work of vacuum packing in half -- I only had to do 7, rather than all 14 separately.
This is a great product and I will be using these regularly!
