I used to struggle making my own food saver bags for my children's "top ramen bags" (I cook extra (bbq chkn etc.) and mixed veggies in a freezer bag labeled then when they get home from school they make the soup and throw in adder only more filling and better for them. I am so happy with this product I use it for everything and less product is wasted!

My Food Saver is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time for my kitchen! I haven't had it very long but I can already see a savings on my grocery storage. It works perfectly! Should have bought a long time ago!

finally, a great product for packing multiple items without mixing the products together in one bag. Good for portion control for snacks at work or even traveling.

The pouch bags are so easy to use and I can seal 2 one pound packages of ground chuck at one time. I save time and actually save on the amount of plastic that I would. normally use. I recommend this product to everyone.

Won't seal wet items at times-but good for dry

I had problems sealing some wet items, I know you need to dry the inside and outside of bad where it is going to be sealed. But, if too much moisture is sucked up by the vacuam process it doesn't seal the bags completly, and you have to cut off enough to try it again, depending on how much spare bag you have left. Only one side sealed but not the other so I tore it into seperate portions, and tried to reseal the side that did not seal. I ended up having to try at least four times, with paper towels inside, but I should have just left in the frezzer until frozen to seal.

very good machine

I would give it a very outstaning rating if was not for one bad feature about the sealer. When a bage is put in to seal it, the sealer wastes to much of the bag. If it would seal at no more then a inch from the end it woud be a outstaning sealer.
