Saves space

Great for small items and small amounts of food. I love keeping individual servings of meat, vegetables, etc. in these bags. I can cut them to the size I need and they are perfect every time.

This is great for small portions.

Great for smaller portions and is very flexible. The only con is that some times (not very often) the bags fail to hold a vacuum. However, this happens some times with the other style bags also. Overall, a great, versatile bag configuration.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for left overs

I have used the portion control mostly for left over items or when I shop bulk I break down the original packaging into these bags. Again that saves me money cause there is no waist.

The portion control bags sold by food saver offer the best savings and utilization of any of the other food saver bags are roles. They hold even the largest chicken breast that I can get from whole foods. They allow me to store things in single serving size and only fallout as many items as I need. Even though I could use a regular bag/role it seems like a waste of space to only put one chicken breast are one fish fillet into a bag. On many occasions my wife once a chicken breast and I want to fish fillet. I just tear one off of the bag and cook the items. I use the roles and other bags, but the portion bag is my favorite now.

Using the portion pouch roll makes it so much quicker to package and freeze foods. I just put the correct portion size in each slot and seal! The perforated sections pull apart for easy storage in my freezer. This is so easy! And I find my foods stay fresher. Even my husband noticed a difference in the foods after being stored in these pouches.
