Be sure to leave plenty of room for seal. I used for homemade summer sausage. I did have to tear the first few bags apart to seal because could not get both to seal. With the bulk of the item I feel they were fine. Can't wait to try fish this summer,

I live alone and like to divide fish and chicken into individual portions before I seal them in my foodsaver. The Portion Pouch roll makes it really easy instead of having to use zip bags inside a foodsaver package.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The FoodSaver took a little getting use to, but once I figured out the seal process, it is extremely easy to use. We use it to freeze sandwich meats, dinner meats, wild game, and everything is easily done and stored in the freezer. Personally, I like the rolls the best to use as it allows the final sealed product to be the smallest possible.
I highly recommend the product.

An excellent product for long-term storage

I am new to vacuum sealing. The rolls and bags are expensive in relation to store-bought freezer bags, but if you are going to freeze and store foods for months, then it is something that easily pays for itself.
For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), freezer paper and store-bought freezer bags are the better way to go to save money and retain freshness.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am single and live alone. This product provides me with freezing multiple items without wasting space. i.e., I freeze steaks in a single pouch so I don't waste packaging and have the convenience of using one at a time. Great idea.

I like the idea of these. I haven't found that many foods yet that I have used these for - I typically am storing larger batches of food. I did use them for trail mix and nuts. My biggest issue with them is filling them. I've found it difficult to fill each side without losing control - I fill one side and haven't figured out how to fill the other without spilling the food. My husband helps. It would be great to have some sort of stand to hold the bags while they are being filled.

I have a big upright freezer and it it filled sale items and servings of chili, sauce, sloppy joes, etc. Love this pouch for single servings of chops and chicken. Food last longer than what conventional wisdom states about frozen food duration.
