The portion pouch suits my lifestyle

I like the convenience of freezing same items together but separately. It saves room in the freezer and I can keep track of how much I have of one type of meat or veggie. I also like the idea that I can cut the bags to the size I want for individual items.

The portion pouch roll is a godsend! I can easily store enough leftovers for two meals with no hassle and no mess. What will FoodSaver think of next!

if your family goes a lot or you need something fast
the food can be cooked and put into the portion bag
or put up foodas just enough for a meal or just one serving
by you being able to choose the size makes it very convenient woulds be nice if the bags hads a small pleet in the side for a little expantion

this product needs to have wider openings

We had a beef butchered and these bags were MUCH to narrow for the meat to fit..Needless to say I was very disappointed..I didn't know they would be so small..Even trying to fit hamburg in them was difficult because of the opening, so now I'm stuck with them..because I coudn't use them..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good idea BUT.....

These bags are a great idea but they aren't perfect. I had trouble getting some of them to seal correctly and others lost the seal after I was done so I couldn't resell them. Food saver needs to put a little thought into this issue.

These bags are perfect for just about everything I freeze. Love it for single servings of soup or chili! My husband loves them for his trout. A must have in any kitchen!

Excellent products, excellent service

I have purchased several Foodsaver products over the years and have been extremely satisfied with the main vacuum sealers and bags. I raised our family using this machine and as a result each one of our children now use vacuum sealers in their own homes with their own families. Foodsaver offers many different ways in which to protect food from spoiling faster than it needs to and this has helped save us lots of money, especially while I ran my own day care business for 18 years. Thank-you for a truly great product.
