Must have....

This is a must have if you are watching your portions. Also once in awhile I am hungry for one thing and the family want something else I can take a portion out just for me. Yes I may be using more bags but I am not throwing out left overs. Another idea for your bags...shipping, and the post office one rate box. I had to ship a child's dress overseas that my daughter forgot, it was too big to fit in the box as is so I vacuum sealed it. It fit perfect in the box and saved me a bundle of money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for small things too

I don't generally seal single servings at this time, but I do have to seal small things like spices or other small amounts and this is MUCH easier than messing about cutting the other bags down to fit, and less waste. You can tear them down the middle and seal each side separately also, which is what I have done for small things, like that last bit of cheese leftover from making tacos.

Great product for the money

As an avid fisherman, I really appreciate that these bags are a good width for filets, can be cut to any size, and allow for packaging two-at-a-time, which helps save time. I feel there's less waste than with the wider, quart-size bags, which makes it a better value.

This is a great idea!! It works great for things from the grill--recently I placed hotdogs on one side and hamburgers on the other. Three days later, the grandkids could pick which they wanted. No complaints about leftovers--they thought it was "cool"

I have been making my own for many years and using scissors to separate them.
These work great for back country camping. We dry pack our meals to save weight and this saves on weight.
A Perfect size to pack 1 lb boxes of butter in when we find them on sale and freeze them. Last a long time.
A simple change and works so well.

I keep the unit on my kitchen counter so it is available for leftovers but the best use is when we buy 40 pounds of fresh chicken or 30 pounds of berries to use all year. It works quick and easy and the food stores very well. No more freezer burn.
