So convenient for household of one. I can portion frozen veggies to individual servings and not worry about items clumping. Also works great for fresh veggies in season, such as bell pepper strips that don’t even need to be blanched, and for fresh corn kernels to enjoy well past the season (I’m a farmers market addict)

I use these to seal small quantities for Recipes & Snacks. I premeasure cut up chicken pieces in 2.5 oz (1/2 c.) pkts. This way I can make chicken salad for 2. Or I can combine them to make a casserole or soup. They can be used for so many things. They make my foodsaver efforts more economical.

I love these. They are wonderful to freeze sausage or hotdogs. Anything that is a little long and when you don't want to freeze a lot in a container. I split up my brats to freeze one in eat portion bag so I can take out as many as I need.

Perfect for freezing portions of cheese slices

I buy these rolls primarily for freezing portions of cheese slices that we buy in bulk. The size of each bag is perfect for this purpose. When I need cheese slices I thaw one of the portion bags and none of our cheese is spoiled or wasted.

Perfect size for a two-person household

These portion-pouch bags are the perfect size! I have a medium-sized garden with lots of vegetables, but we're just a 2-person household, so only need 1 1/2 - 2 cups of a vegetable per meal. These work great and keep my fresh-from-the-garden veggies in perfect condition all year long, until the next growing season!
The 8" bags are way too big, and the pint sized, pre-cut bags are still a bit too big and waste material in my opinion, and they're not as cost effective as these portion pouch bags.
As of 6/23 , they don't seem to be updated to the new box, and they're only available in single rolls. I sure hope they're not being phased out!
