I used to freeze food in baggies of all sizes and threw away so much food because of freezer burn. We received the FoodSaver as a gift, and I haven't had to throw food away since!

I liked the portion pouch roll. they are easy to use and worked great for freezing bacon into individual portions bags without the fuss of making my own bags.

This bag is so convenient as you can seal and freeze two items at once. The FoodSaver machine is money well spent. I do not know what I did without it.

quality product, convenient portion size

I have not had these bags long enough to get really creative, however...i have figured out that these save both time and money. The compartment is perfect portion size for chicken breasts, portions of fish, shrimp and ingredients for my favorite smoothie. My other half and I work a variety of shifts.... sometimes we get to eat together, sometimes we don't. So being able to pull out one OR two portions is convenient and economical. My new favorite is taking a portion of frozen cod and making poor mans lobster in the microwave. I get a hot healthy meal ( until i add the butter for dipping), and it beats anything the hospital cafeteria has to offer!

purchased by mistake. wanted the regular 11in rolls. attempted to use to freeze chicken quarter legs and found the portion size was to small. my mistake s I kept the items and ordered the 11in ones.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
