HORRIABLE!!

I got these pouch bags at the store last week and just now tried them. They are HORRIABLE! The pouches are so small you can hardly fit any thing in them. However what is worse is you cant get the bags to seal! I tried repeatedly and they just won't seal. I will NEVER buy this kind again. Not worse the stress plus a BIG waste of money. Not a happy camper there...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never throw away food again

I buy in quantity and then divide the amounts into one-meal quantities and freeze. I can reheat in boiling water in the bag or take the food out and cook conventionally or in the microwave. I do not have to worry about freezer burn or moisture loss. There is always something to fix easily when you have the FoodSaver, and by signing up to get email notification of sales, I can get my bags for a very cheap price. I like the fact that the bags are BPA free!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The portion pouch roll is the best. When you need to preserve smaller amounts of food, you don't have to worry about wasting a big bag. I used mine recently after having a big ham dinner. I diced up leftover ham and used the pouches to freeze it. I had just enough for pizza toppings, ham and cheese ball and whatever else I might need. I am very happy with these.

Seemed like a great idea, seal two bags at a time should equate to saving time and I like the small bags anyway since I cook mostly for two.
But in reality. I usually fold the top of the bag down before filling it so the space where the seal will be stays clean, can't fold down bags that are attached so you end up trying to wipe the inside of the bag before it will seal. Plus they are a nuisance in general to try and fill one side at a time. They are also more tricky to get into the sealer with no wrinkles.
I end up tearing 'em in half first and then filling them. Kinda defeats the purpose but they work well that way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product has allowed me to buy meats and other foods in bulk, which is so much cheaper. I have no freezer burn, the bags are simple to reopen and foods are very fresh.
I like the bags have tags to date stamp your items too.
I haven't even began fishing yet! Can't wait to put that Rockfish in these and open them later in the year to only find that it is still FRESH and tasty!

The quality of the Food Saver bags is so much better than any we have tried. The non meat storage bags are reusable, which makes them an even more economical choice. I have used this brand of bags for over 5 years, and will continue to do so, i shop for sales, buy in quantity, and seal for extended freshness. I have paid for my machine and bag purchases many times over.

These are perfect. I love to make individual side servings, or small servings of an item. They are worth the $ because otherwise I might be throwing a lot of food away.
