Great for putting up stuff from the garden

I like using the portioned bags for the stuff I freeze from the garden.. I pre freeze Zucchini so I don't get all the water in the bags.
Now when I freeze my peppers I just load what I think I need in these smaller bags...Freeze first, Then vacuum the air out...
I feel the veggies hold there shape much better that way...
And last much longer....

I'll also use these bags for herbs and Lemon zest as well ...

perfect for most everything I freeze! thanks!! I've been dividing the contents by hand, which has been a bit touch and go...i.e., sometimes it works, sometimes not, but with these new bags, it's a snap!

There are many bags on the market but I have found none to be better than the original Food Saver Bags

I got my food saver about two months ago and since then have ordered several products and bags to go with my food saver. I love it so much I gave my brother one for his birthday. Actually I gave him one that has more features on it than mine. But I'm not jealous I like mine. The bags and accessories that go with the systems are fantastic and I would recommend them to everybody

This bag is wonderful for someone who lives alone and only needs to cook one portion at a time. I can fix a pot of spaghetti sauce, chili or favorite soups and have enough meals to last a month. I have found that if I let the food (liquid) chill overnight to become thicker, it's easier to get in the bag and seal.
I can't wait till the next time I buy chicken breasts and can freeze each one individually. This has been my biggest food waste in the past because they get freezer burn fairly quickly in the bags they come in.
I absolutely love my Food Saver and look forward to many happy months/years of "cooking for one". Thank you!!
