Nice to have a smaller size, but....

But....I didn't realize the roll [perforated down the middle] was not in two separate sections and forced you to feed both sides. So if you have two baguettes you are good to go. However, if you just want to make a small pouch for a smaller portion and don't have a second portion or item, you would lose half or have to figure out how to keep it out of the way.
My solution? I unrolled the entire thing, split in half at the perforation, cut the tube in half and re-rolled each length around the tube. I now have two rolls that will let me make a narrow pouch of any length. I would recommend to a friend and just let them know the option of dividing.

A local bakery sells 16 inch long sub rolls. I buy a dozen, vacuum pack them individually, and freeze them. They last up to a year! (NO suction, just seal)

I tried this product once before. I like the fact if I only need one.
And I was cautious when it comes to spliting the two there was no tiny splits to
let air to leak in and it will free up more space. only thing a minor draw back
is it is not pen friendly

I like the size of this roll, as it gives me the flexibility to store using whatever size I need. The precut bags are great, if they meet your needs but I have much more flexibility with roll.

I have used my vacuum sealer for a couple of years with great results, even though the machine can be contrary to operate at times.
The choice of bags' quality, usage, styles are varied, as well as suppliers and price.
I am very well please with the quality, usage, price, and speed of delivery provided by Food Safer on this order.
I have recommended Food Saver Vacuum Seal System and bags to my friends, and other people I meet in public forays as a cost effective long term storage solution, more escpecially in portion sized dry and frozen storage for empty nesters and single persons taking advantage of price savings for bulk purchased pricing.
I also vacuum seal small parts, electronic parts, and complete small projects in portion bags or larger bags as needed.
