I am late writing this review because I wanted to try it before saying anything. I used it to freeze corn on the cob. It is the perfect size! When I get ready to cook the corn, I just put the bag(s) in boiling water and they cook perfectly. Since I live in hurricane country (as well as tornadoes), I keep an emergency box handy. One of the items in there is some extra cash. Vacuum sealed, of course. As well as candles, matches, batteries, flashlight and extra clothing. So many uses for every size of Food Saver bags!
I would recommend this to a friend!

With the portion bags, I'm able to freeze portions which makes it easy to take a portion bag and thaw without having to thaw the whole package. I also cook and save food so I don't have to cook an entire meal each day. The Portion bags are a real time saver.

Great for snack packs

I make snack packs (dehydrated fruit and nuts)for my family. I like that I can make 2 at a time. I make a bunch at one time store them in a jar on the counter. It has become the go to snack.

I got these because it was buy 3 get 3 free and I was out of the bags. BUT these have a divider down the middle and you could barely fit 1 boneless chicken breast in the bag. Waste of money for me.
