I have used the FoodSaver® 11" x 16' Portion Pouch Vacuum-Seal Roll before. They are just the right size for one. When I buy meat I immediately cook it and make single portions to freeze.

The perforated portion pouches are the perfect answer for me. I like to buy in bulk, vacuum seal, Sous Vide, store and so on, and these are my go to. Less waste, convenient width. Love them.

I make a lot of homemade soups . Use the Portion Control bags to freeze them in. In case you are going - what? I fill the bags with the portion I want, stand them upright to freeze. I have a small 12 x 9 inch basket for this. Once frozen, simply Vacuum seal, write contents & date on bag, and store in my upright freezer. Perfect.
