HDMI cable doesn?t work

I ran the new cable from my new projector through the ceiling to my receiver. I was having issues with audio. I bought a new receiver and was having issues with video. Troubleshot it for a few hours. Connected things with an old hdmi cable and everything worked. Something is wrong with the new HDMI cable I just bought. I need a new one.

Works as advertised. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because I haven't been able to test it's 4k and 8k performance yet, as my hardware doesn't support it.

The end of the cable broke off as soon as I plugged it in.I sent an email to monoprice but never heard back. I?ve bought tons of monoprice cables over the years and never had a problem so while I won?t buy this cable again probably I will still buy cables from then in the future.

A little glitchy

Ever since switching my Xbox Series X to this cable, I?ve noticed that often when switching to that input on the TV, there?s a weird line down the left side of the screen and the whole image is offset a few inches to the right with a black box on the left. If I change the input off the Xbox and then change back, this goes away. But it never happened before getting this cable.
I?ve also noticed that when I turn the Xbox on, the TV turns on but no longer automatically switches to the correct input for the Xbox.

Was sent power cords instead of HDMI cable. Pretty sure they don?t work
