I bought this a little over a month ago and I could not zoom in any closer than 0.2 mi.. I spent hours doing online chats that did not solve the issue. I had return the chip about 2 weeks ago and I have not heard anything from tech services since they received it about 10 days ago.

Horrible for Florida Gulf Coast

Virtually no information for areas west of Naples and Ft Myers deeper than 70'...which is where majority of us fish. Assuming new Florida e-chart has same lack of info.

Depending on where on the site you check for unit compatibilty, it might tell you it is compatible with Helix7...but other places it will say only certain Helix 7 units. Once you unbox it and realize it doesnt work, they have your money and you have a worthless SD micro card.

Works great for inshore and offshore fishing

The coastmaster V1 charts contain mapping data for all inshore and offshore areas of the US. If it's tidal, it's included. We use it in the Chesapeake bay as a major upgrade from Navionics or the base map.
