Excellent as a gift!

This was a gift purchased to celebrate my niece's wife getting promoted to Executive Chef for the Restaurant she works at. My niece's wife is an exceptional chef and I wanted to get her an item for her personal collection that we would love to use and she is thrilled with her gift! She said this is the nicest knife she owns by far and she can't wait to put it into use. I also got her the knife care kit. I can't wait to come over for fish or a roast and see her put this beautiful knife into action.

The knife is a work of art and is absolutely my utility, go-to knife in my kitchen. I used to mistakenly believe that a kitchen knife was a kitchen knife but boy was I wrong. Top notch product.

Shun Knife Care Kit

Excellent kit especially for steel blade knives. Easily removes patina & minor rust. Talc ball restores mirror like finish. Reminds me of old samurai movies when samurai uses talc ball on sword blade.
