Way too stiff to be safe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested this product daily for about two weeks as a participant of Stellar Product Testing Panel.
While opening the package, I noticed the sustainability feature of 70% bio-based plastic. I really like that efforts toward sustainability was not overlooked.
For the first few uses, the replacement head felt hard to put on and take off. I wasn't sure I was doing it right and was worried about breaking it or the electric handle that the head goes on. It turns out that it just requires some force when attaching to the handle. I was expecting a much lighter operation with a clicking sound when done correctly. But it feels easy to do now. Just a firm push and pull are all it takes.
I encountered a major problem. After only a few days of careful, gentle use, my teeth got worn down and I'm now experiencing significant tooth sensitivity. Eating mildly acidic foods like an apple feels torturous. Brushing also feels uncomfortable. I can always feel the sensitivity and discomfort. I know that treating enamel loss is extremely difficult and expensive, so I'm very saddened by this outcome which is opposite of the point of this product.
I've used a simpler electric toothbrush shortly before this period. I've used manual toothbrushes with a firm bristle in the recent past. I haven't been eating much acidic food. This new sensitivity is from using this new Philips brush head. I now realize the bristles of the replacement head are very, very stiff. Coupled with the motorized vibration of the handle, this is a really "powerful" toothbrush. I hope the problem on the brush side can be easily fixed with a softer replacement.
Since realizing the problem after a little over a week of use, I've been brushing manually with the same Sonicare unit. The bristles indeed feel very stiff and uncomfortable with my worn-down teeth. Yet I haven't been able to do a proper cleaning job while brushing very gingerly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Sonicare from Stellar Product Testing Panel.
The toothbrush and replacement heads were well packaged and included an instruction manual, travel bag, glass charging station, and 5v power cord.
Out of the box, I immediately noted the ease with which the heads may be changed and replaced. The toothbrush came with a full charge on the battery, which is a nice touch.
The brisels on the included heads (soft) are robust enough to work with the sonic cleaning action in order to leave your mouth with a fresh and clean sensation. The sonic motion of the toothbrush provides the oscillation of the brisels required to reach into all hard to reach crevices.
The battery life is quite extensive. I attempted to use the toothbrush all week, free of charging, and it handle to task with no issues. When using to glass charging station with the supplied 5v charging cable, the charge rate is quite efficient.
I would highly recommend this toothbrush and heads to anyone in the market for a first class cleaning experience.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Philips Sonicare W DiamondClean Replacement Brush Heads through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I could not be happier with the product. After each brush, my teeth feel as clean as they do after a dentist visit. The replacement head is so simple to take on and off the brush head and also to tell that it was installed properly. Compared to my previous toothbrush, the Sonicare Replacement Brush Head has bristles which are soft on gums, offers a superior cleaning experience, and easily rinses clean after being used. The packaging of the replacement heads seemed a bit wasteful and did not need to be so large. However, given the investment in an electric toothbrush, it is reassuring to know that high quality replacement parts are available.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] (Received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel) The Sonicare Diamond clean toothbrush is a high end brush. It comes well packaged and feels premium. The handle is easy to hold and not too bulky. The mode and intensity settings are great for dialing the brush to your needs. I have sensitive gums so the gum health mode is nice and gentle. I also loved the new gum health brush head included, it made my teeth feel well cleaned but gentle. I will be buying more of these heads. Other nice features are the long battery life, pressure sensitivity with light, travel case and charging stand. The travel case has a nice perk of including a cable built into the base. So you don't have to pack up your home charger. Only thing I wish it had was a UV cleaning option built into the case, but not sure how well those work anyway. This is my 3rd sonic care diamond brush and they keep improving and adding features. My old ones still work too! Worth the price to keep your teeth well cared for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m reviewing this product as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel. I’ve been a Philips electric toothbrush user for likely over a decade. I have yet to be disappointed by anything they have manufactured in this department. The toothbrush replacement heads are no different; they’re easy to install/uninstall and are very well-made. I can see myself using this product/ brand as long as I have teeth.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Phillips electric toothbrush, and these brush heads fit my toothbrush make keeping my teeth "Dentist visit clean" very easy.
