Microwave is great. Love the overall design and function. Genius 2.0 works surprisingly well.
However,
One design feature I can’t understand:
To set a time, you need to push the ‘Microwave’ button then rotate the dial.
If you rotate the dial without other input, it goes through its auto preset functions (pizza reheat/one bowl recipes etc).
Why isn’t this the inverse?? Instinctively you try to turn the dial to set a custom time, and then you’re rotating through this menu instead. It’ll eventually become muscle memory but I just can’t understand how no one at Panasonic said hmm, maybe have the default function of the dial be what the user is doing 90% of the time?
I would recommend this to a friend!

The oven holds in moisture to the point of being soaking wet. There needs to be a vent fan that runs for a few minutes after cooking that exhaust the humidity. It can be a couple hours after another family member uses the oven and when I go to use it, I have to mop out the moisture.

I like the design, and the technology of not having a turntable, and the sensor setting, but sometimes i have to hit the sensor button twice before the food is ready, and sometimes it boils over....also, if the recipe calls for a temperature of say 350,you have to set it at 325, or the food will be overdone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buggers. Concept is great. So happy I bought two. The first one worked for a little over two months. Now too late for a refund. So verdict? It is essentially now a PIECE OF JUNK.

I like the size and power. I'm still getting adjusted to using. I thought you could put a frozen meal in and press sensor cook and it would cook it to perfection. I could not find any directions on how to so I wind up cooking it the same way I did with my 16 year old Panasonic Genius. The defrost works very well. I really like the defrost. All in all I really like this microwave.
