I have 4 and they are so easy to use and set up. I love how they can attach to anything with the built in elastic and the qr code on the back is a great idea.
I have 4 Roam trackers, and in each it is very hard to pull down the cover to release the band. I have other adult family members try as well, and it will be impossible for my kids to do this. I was also expecting them to be thinner
Cons: cover,thickness
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Nik, Thank you for your honest feedback. We're sorry to hear you've found the strap cover difficult to remove. We intentionally designed it to fit securely so the tracker doesn't accidentally detach during everyday use, but we appreciate that it can feel a little tight initially. We also appreciate your suggestion regarding making the tracker thinner. Feedback like this is incredibly valuable as we continue to refine future versions of Roam. Thank you again for your support and for owning multiple Roam trackers. If there's anything we can help with, please don't hesitate to contact us at care@roamsmarttracker.com.

Hi there 👋 — thank you so much for sharing your experience and for supporting Roam with multiple units!
You’re absolutely right — the strap cover was designed with a slightly firmer lock to ensure it stays securely attached to whatever it’s clipped to (like bags, bikes, or keys) and doesn’t slide off accidentally. That said, we completely understand it can feel a bit tight at first, especially for kids. The mechanism does loosen slightly with use, and it’s intentionally designed that way to stay firm and secure over time.
We also really appreciate you mentioning the size. The inbuilt elastic strap does add a touch of thickness, but by diameter, Roam is actually about the same as an AirTag. Once you add an accessory to an AirTag, it often becomes bulkier and less flexible — and those accessories usually end up in landfills once they’re no longer needed. Our goal with Roam was to build that versatility in, so you don’t need extra add-ons for different use cases.
Thanks again for giving Roam a try — we’re glad it’s working generally well for you, and your feedback genuinely helps us improve the product for everyone. 🙏
Have two of these little sneaky beasts to attached to anything that travels with me. One is constantly wrapped under bike seat and out of the way, the second gets pegged onto any backpack that journeys with me for work.
While I have multiple pebbles for everything else, like wallet and car, I mostly use those out of familiary. Yet these Roams quickly became my weekend that already helped out multiple times. Love 'em!
