I added the roam to my kid's backpack. It shows totally different place on map than it actually is. For example, I picked up my kid, we were at home like one hour or so, but it showed he is still at school🙈 si if you bought it as me, to keep your kids safe and to see their whereabouts, don't waste your money on that. Buy a smart watch with GPS, or airtag or something, that actually works.

Roam is designed to locate belongings using the Apple Find My or Google Find Hub network. It is not intended as a real-time GPS tracker for monitoring people, including children. Location updates depend on nearby devices within the network detecting the tracker, so they won't always be immediate.

I'm overall very pleased with the tracker. However, I have 2 annoyances with it:
1. It is often not very accurate. For instance we have used it so that we can easier find our car, when the other person parks it, but it often shows up on the wrong parking area.
2. Sometimes it will make a loud beeping noise for an extended period of time. For instance, the one in our car will often make this loud noise once we start driving.
