As one of the Kickstarter backers, I am delighted that Roam now offers me a flexible smart tracker that is not tied to a single brand ecosystem, as is the case with some providers. Roam combines many good ideas, such as the additional QR code on the tracker so that it can be reported as found, etc., which makes it even more likely that the lost item will be returned. So far, I have nothing negative to say. The setup was easy and it stays securely attached to my keychain for the worst case.

Not quite sure what I was expecting but from what I can tell the Roam does what it should. I love the design and the replaceable battery. I think the big problem is that Android/Google Find Hub isn't quite ready for prime time. Phone app works better than the web version (haven't been able to see the Roam on the web). No idea how it works in the iOS world.
