Having same print problems as the other HP printer and this one is only 8 mos. old; I have to clean the printheads after 8-10 pages of printing. Top of page is clear and then everything starts to fade, I have tried all of the "print quality" features (alignment, clean smear and clean printhead); this should not happen to a new printer. I am still under warranty and should be given a "new" printer".
i miss my old HP Printer. The new one was difficult to set up; it wouldn't print photos easily and it had to be replaced. The replacement was a pain to set up too. It still doesn't print pictures easily. You have to take out the paper and put in photo paper and change the settings every time; in the old one the paper was in the printer, and you just changed to print photo. I do like the new ink program as that is convenient.
I purchased my printers for the functions they offered as an all-in-one. The first printer began malfunctioning by showing error messages and failures to print that could never be resolved. It also failed in printing some colors even after numerous attempts at replacing cartridges that indicated they contained more than 50% ink. The second printer eventually showed the same issues and a frequent failure to connect to my computer after numerous reboots and uninstalled and reinstalled printer drives. I will not purchase other HP printers going forward, and am hesitant to purchase any HP products based on these two printers’ poor performance.
Printer always indicates it is off line. Printer tools says it is connected to WiFi. More than once, I have had to reinitiate the printer to our WiFi. Our home Eero system says it is connected. HP Smart - not so smart, says printer is offline. HP Smart checks and sometimes it prints anyway. The printer has a terrible connectivity technical issue.
