I’ve had my Vitamix VX3 for about a month and have say I am very impressed and pleased with this blender. I make things like cheesy sauce, mayonnaise, and oat flour and the sauces come out very smooth and creamy, while the oat flour comes out fairly fine, with a few bits of rolled oats still in there, but not a lot. I like the VX3 because the canister is small enough to fit in my cupboard, and I appreciate the smart settings. A couple of things I’m still on the fence about: 1) the tamper holder can be fastened to either side, but it seats in loosely and sometimes feels like it’s going to fall off, and 2) although the lid plug “clicks” into place with a slight twist, it kind of rattles a bit when blending. I don’t think it can work its way off, but I expected a more solid solution from Vitamix. Oh, and speaking of the tamper, I was very surprised to find it is made of a very lightweight plastic that could be easily crushed if dropped and accidentally stepped on. It feels like a kids toy baseball bat. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, as it keeps the tamper light and easy to hold, but come on Vitamix, for the price of these blenders, a more substantial tamper should be included.

Powerful blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very powerful and easy to use with multiple speed settings. The container is thick and durable even for blending ice. Nice design but tamper holder come off very easily and take up a little extra space. It feels reliable and works consistently. It is a little expensive but quality is worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the BEST blenders I’ve ever used in my life and my previous blender is a Ninja. It is quick, and has not struggled with a single thing I have put in it. A true workhorse in my kitchen. I have a family of 7 and it has become a staple in my cooking. Salsas, soups, smoothies, you name it! Pictured here is a salsa verde I made and also an avocado lime crema. Both made with my Vitamix VX3!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender/processor is one of the best if not the best ive ever used and ive been a chef for 25 years. PROS/easy to assemble and clean. Maybe took 1 minute to put together and like 3 minutes to clean it back up. Worked great, perfect emulsions, sauces, soups, aiolis. You name it. Owe and the big winner was making dragon fruit/blueberrys, and lemonade smoothies for my daughter Mixie and my girlfriend. They loved them. Great product!
CONS/not to many really. Id say it would of been a pricey product to buy for just your normal at home cook. Its super powerfull and you would need a good spot to put it, its pretty big, and you could easily take a finger off or just cut yourself cleaning it if your not carefull.

I love it and so does my family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like the vx3 Vitamix Blender it's made really well, it's made of a thick plastic that doesn't feel like it will crack if accidently dropped. I have used it to make several milkshakes for my family and I can make them thick for those who prefer it that way, and thinner for those who prefer that. I haven't made smoothies yet, but that is next. I can add a whole carton of ice cream in it at once to make multiple milkshakes and as long as I scoop it out instead of just dumping the whole thing in there it has no trouble mixing. If I do just add the whole carton at once because I am in a hurry, it comes with the tool to simply mash the ingredients down by removing the small section on the lid. I love the way the lid is made and that I have everything I need right there without having to grab a spatula. I highly recommend this blender. The speeds and modes that it has is well worth the price of this machine
