no replacement filters!!!!

impossible to get replacement filters. do not purchase. been trying get the filter for 2 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Promising for RV use.

I purchased the Dirt Devil for our travel trailer to get around the flooring edges and hard to sweep areas. After using it in my kitchen and in the car, I believe it will work for my intentions.
Ô In the kitchen, it did perfectly fine for the trash bin drawer, around the stove and other "crevices". This is mostly the type of vacuuming I'll be doing.
Ô in the car, it didn't perform so well on the mats or small cutouts for keys, etc. the nozzle just didn't fit in there. I'd like to see another attachment that has some sort of small hose that would get into those smaller 1"x3" spaces.
Pros: it worked well picking up small stuff--crumbs, small pepper corn sized pebbles & other lightweight things.
Cons: 1. Takes awhile for recharging. A charge maybe lasts 20 minutes, but then it's only meant for small cleanups. Once the battery starts getting low, it loses most of its suction. 2. The on/off switch is too easily turned on/off--really should be a slide type switch or placed out of reach when changing nozzles. 3. There's a bit of snugness to removing the filter, so best to practice and if it's full, utilize a trash bag to keep the grit from flying out when removing the filter. AQlso, when reattaching the filter, be sure it is evenly re-inserted, not kittywompus. 4. There's a bit of a learning curve on using the 2in1 nozzle. Had to watch a youtube.

WARNING - Don't Buy

Do not buy this product, it is no longer being serviced, and replacement parts are impossible to find or come by. The fact that it is being sold is disturbing, and they clearly expect people to give up and repurchase the same vacuum.
Find a new brand!! It is a shame because the vacuum was working well and good for its purpose and price. However, at the end of the day, it will just become a discarded piece of plastic that you can no longer use.

Do not buy this vacuum

I bought this little hand vac for our camper trailer and it is perfect except for one problem - I have been trying to buy replacement filters for at least 4 months but they are not available anywhere. I have been cleaning the filter with compressed air but the filter is in desperate need of replacement. I have been a big fan of dirt devil project but feel as if I have been a victim of fraud. It is environmentally irresponsible to make an item which needs replacement filters without also producing the filter replacements.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
