Decent Watch

Screen is nice, battery time is great, biometrics, and fitness app is awesome, but the case is a little too thick for my liking, it’s constantly getting caught on my shirt cuffs because of the 15mm thickness, and it’s a little too heavy for my liking, I find it uncomfortable to wear at times and hard to forget it’s on my wrist. Not very comfortable to sleep with two tracks sleeping, Overall it’s a decent watch but I can’t really justify the price tag to be honest.

I have been using the Epix gen 2 for about 2 months now. I am a weekend warrior, mostly gym, cycling hiking and some light sports. I came over to Garmin after years of trying to stay on top of my metrics using android/google and other products. In my opinion, there is no comparison. The Epix is hands down, by far, the best fitness watch I have ever utilized. The amoled screen is, well..."Epic." I am aware that you can probably get more battery life from an mip but for my particular use, where I am seldom away from charging capabilities for 16 days, this serves my purpose extremely well. I now consider myself a loyal Garmin customer.

Given the AMOLED bright screen - the battery life is borderline ridiculous - began using with no powersaving at all and was surprised it still went 4- 5 days - switched to gesture mode and very amazed to be getting 13-15 days without really missing anything
I bought a vivoactive 4 originally and it struggled keeping GPS where I live for runs and long rucks I was doing. Also loading Spotify playlists was very glitchy. So I went all out and got an Epix. Absolutely worth it! Last for like 14 days when I don’t have always on running, which is fine because I can just rotate my wrist and it lights up. GPS is insane and works far better than my phone or Apple Watch ever did. It is very effective at tracking all your stats and giving you real time data during the day and as you workout. Did a 12 mile ruck in the woods with it while playing music and had zero issues and it still worked another 8 days after that before I needed to charge it. The only con I have is the suggested recovery is whack! Run a few miles or do some functional fitness or CrossFit and it tell you that you need to rest like 70+hours. Haha Overall, I’m extremely happy with it though!

It does everything my Fenix 5x did and more -- but faster, more accurate, and CLEARER. The resolution is so good, I don't need my readers. The Epix 2 had me at "better battery life."
My device doesn't allow me to reply ,predetermined txt, and also the Spotify doesn't work with the speaker

I can't say enough about this watch. Everyday I fall in love with the watch again. So capable of doing everything I want and then some. The battery life is amazing.
Updated: Everyday I wear this watch, which I only take it off to charge, I love it. It has all the features that I would want in a smart watch and then some. If you have any questions as to which smart watch look no more. This is it!
I bought the watch only for tracking my health. I am not sure I believe the information. example: flights of floors, steps don’t seem to me to be accurate. In general it is a lot more information I had before so in general I think it is helpful. the amount of youtube video’s helping to save recharging is very good
