I am not a student. but a executive chef for over 35 years
this is the second sit of shun I have purchased. 1st set in 2005 and still sharp just a bit worn . so on to the knew ones and loving it.

This is my 1st set of SHUN Knives, always wanted one! I got the Classic 8-Piece Set and couldn't be happier. They look amazing and are battle ready, super sharp. A+++
