I thought that this ink was supposed to last longer. I bought a black ink cartridge in December. I thought it would last at least 6 months. It lasted 2and 1/2 months. When I went to staples to purchase another black cartridge there were only 2 left and you had to purchase a color cartridge with it. There were no single or double black cartridges to buy only a combo package. The price is unbelievably expensive!!!!

I don't use a lot of ink and was initially hesitant to purchase figuring it would dry out. Thankfully I was wrong. Print is clear and plenty of warning given when it's getting low. Definitely recommend for even non-frequent use.
