I purchased these for my airplane trips because I have very sensitive ears to loud engine noise and changes in air pressures . These amazing earphones not only protect my ears from noise , but also seem to prevent the earaches that I normally get while descending . They fit snugly around my ear which is comforting and work well without
listening to music , so I can have silence without distraction . Very comfortable and highly recommended for anyone with sensitive ears .

Everything with these headphones are perfect I love the anc and I love the transparency it’s amazing yet it’s very heavy which is improtwnt as if I can’t wear it I can’t use it cause it hurts my neck wearing for more then an hour

I really like them in spite of the price

I bought these to replace my original AirPod Max. It had finally gone kaput. I like the noise cancellation feature as it helps me hear the voices in my head clearer. They are very easy to use although Apple could have made some updates for generation 2 other than just making them usb 2.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Been an AirPods Max hold out since 2020. As Apple updated the other AirPods with newer features, the first gen became an increasingly worse deal. The dealbreaker for me was no Adaptive mode. When AirPods Max 2 were released, I almost bought them immediately but saw Best Buy had them for $110 off and immediately jumped on it. Been really satisfied with it so far, the sound quality is great for me, but hey I’m no audiophile. The detail is there and the bass and sub bass sound full while the midrange sounds full-bodied and not teeny. ANC performance is incredible and transparency almost sounds like you’re not wearing headphones but most importantly, Adaptive mode works perfectly when I’m out and about, cancelling background noise but still letting me have full conversations without taking them off. All the other smart features also work great, like head gestures to manage notifications etc. TLDR, it’s AirPods but over ear, which is exactly what I was looking for. 9/10 for me. I took 1 point off cause of the stupid case.

Connectivity, audio, and noise cancellation are top tier. IOT stay in the ecosystem I got myself the second gen. My only issues with them are the weight, which in one hand makes them feel premium, but can get uncomfortable for long sessions and how it’s feels wearing them being a person who wears glasses (personal preference).
Other than that I have fallen in love with the seamlessness of transparency mode, adaptive, noise cancellation, spacial audio. I wish I had gotten these sooner.
A word of advice would be to wait for a sale or take advantage of being a Best Buy member to get a discount. These headphones are very expensive.

Yeah Apple locked in. Only thing is the earmuffs are itchy and get stained easy when sweating. But they are removable and easy to clean. Other than that it is the best performing headphones that will last forever. I broke xm5’s twice in the same spot (hinge). Xm4’s (hinge). Beats (hinge) so Apple knows what they are doing when they add steel hinges and the device comes apart so each piece can be replaced if damaged. Also buy apple care or you are not smart I don’t have to explain. Just do it.
