Amazing features and love overall, just wish WiFi connect was a bit better.

There are so many things I really love about the skylight calendar! The chores for my kids to remember their daily tasks, the calendar that syncs to my phone automatically, and color coding the meal planning. It has helped in so many ways.
The only things we have had an issue with is it struggles to stay connected to our WiFi. It disconnects itself and then I have to reboot the whole calendar before it will reconnect to the internet.

Our family loves this calendar!
Update in real time straight from your phone anywhere. Sync with pre-existing calendars for each user.
Kiddos love checking off their chore list for a little "confetti" to celebrate once completed.
This has made communication among our very busy family so much more convenient!

Frustrated, having to manually re-sync calendars

This morning I was ready to return my Skylight frame after only a couple weeks. Skylight stopped syncing new additions from my google calendars 48 hours ago. I unplugged it. I reset the wifi. No change. I found instructions online to "re-sync" within the app. I opened the app on my phone and there was no option to re-sync.
I finally found I could re-sync in in the browser version on my laptop. The calendars did re-sync and update very quickly once I figured this out. (What is the point of the plus plan with "remote settings in the app" if I can't re-sync from the app?)
The troubleshooting experience was frustrating and disappointing. My sole purpose is to have all my calendars up-to-date and displayed in one place. I am curious how often I will need to manually re-sync all of my calendars. Prior to this I had no issues but it has only been a couple weeks. The photo slideshow is a cute concept, but not why I bought this at all.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

THIS THING IS AMAZING! We don't have children yet but I could see how this would be a great asset for those who do. I love displaying all of our pictures on the calendar and my husband can simply go look at it to see what I'm doing that day or what events we have coming up since we both work swing shifts and variable schedules. I also LOVE LOVE the lists. Now that he has the app, we make lists for the grocery store and there's no more random texts of 1/2 of a grocery list and then forgotten items when I come out of the store. It was so easy to set up and get synced to my google calendar. Not to mention, it is beautifully designed and even the box was beautiful. Well done- you get what you pay for.

Good But Not Great

Skylight frame is pretty good, but still has some development to do in order to be very useful. A few features that are challenging:
- You can't access Skylight from a computer
- There is no concept of a "chore" that isn't completed on a single day
- You can create a "to do" list, but you can't assign tasks to a person, and it doesn't have the same visual as chores
- Chores are autosorted in alphabetical order without the ability to change it
