Pretty good, almost great

I got this for my wife to replace the dry-erase board calendar she would have to update every week with the calendar from Google.
Pros: large size, easily readable, sleep option to save power, a few calendar layout styles and easy to use
Cons: unable to assign chores to more than one person, would like a layout that highlights all activities on the selected day instead of scrolling, high subscription cost to send photos to the frame, would like more layout styles or the ability to customize layout, no weather widget

It's okay

It only lets you do chores for 5. We have 6 kids... This creates a problem. It also doesn't keep things in the order you put them in, it mixes everyting up. This creates a problem because my kids have nothing, afternoon and evening chores... It would be nice if they could stay in order. Also you can't edit what you put in only erase and start again. It's nice for everyone to be able to see the calendar but the software needs some work for big families.

Lackluster features and glitches that tech support can’t fix

For as much as they charged for this unit, I expected more robust features and more integrations. For one, I cannot make changes while I’m sitting at my computer. The only thing you can do it is through the app. No PC support. Second, it is supposed to display the temperature all the time. It randomly shows up, but for the most part, it’s always gone, and tech-support cannot tell me why, and they have put in a request to have the “engineers“ take a look at it, but have heard nothing back since. I could have saved a lot more money by buying a touchscreen Monitor and a micro PC just a run Google calendar on. They could have easily added things like voice, memos, handwritten notes, but it’s just a calendar guys. Pretty disappointing so far.

The auto brightness feature doesn't work great. The UI is a little hard to use in some cases. I wish there was a calendar view that displayed overlapping events. multi-day events display as separate. Would be nice to have alerts.

No more nagging!

Love this purchase. No more nagging and a king of the kids have done their chores. It is their responsibility, and I can check everything from my phone. The kids know their schedule and ours. It is so great that they can see the week and activities on the calendar. Now they can plan and be ready for school activities, extra curricular events, and family plans. The pictures are a great bonus. Four kids range from 8-12. I think kids as young as 6 can easily use this, maybe even younger!!

but after syncing my Google calendars... I'm in love!!!! So needed for my family!!!! They finally stopped asking me what the plan is since they can look for themselves. Less stress on this all ready maxed out full-time and over-time working mama!
