Syncing doesn't work across all platforms.

We got this because our six person household needs to coordinate a huge number of events. It will not show events that have been loaded into google calendar... kind of a problem.
1 downside that I discovered: we cannot schedule anything more than six months in advance. Not helpful for vacations or dentist appointments. Fix that, and it will be perfect
I can't do as much with my Skylight as I thought I could. The quality isn't very good and I am limited to what I can do with it. I wouldn't mind it if it wasn't so expensive, but I feel this was a complete waste of money! Don't buy this frame!
We have a large family and I was very excited to try Skylight to help manage our lives and give our kids something to interact with to track progress on their chores.
The kids are kind of into it, but the experience isn’t as smooth as it needs to be for them to really engage. There are a couple notable issues. 1/ The hardware is slow, forcing them to wait several seconds to edit or update a chore. The device pauses when checking off a chore, and the touch screen is not sensitive enough to distinguish between checking a chore of and editing a chore. 2/ The interface is really rigid, and the kids find it challenging to move chores from one person to another on the Skylight device (note this is a little easier in the app). 3/ I was excited about the calendar import functionality, however the calendar is not adding meaningful value above and beyond what you can achieve with Google the calendar app and some admin permissions.
Overall, I really wanted to love the skylight. The marketing was great, however the actual product doesn’t live up to the marketing.
Just what we needed to keep the family organized. We really like the List feature for groceries. And the color coordination is great too. We put it in our mud room so we can look at it every morning before we leave the house.
There is not a way for it to connect to my phone calendar, so a I have to be at home to know what’s on our schedule for the day. I was under the assumption when we bought it that whatever was in the calendar could transfer to our phones.
It doesn’t work! I have spent a lot of time with SL help and he told me that my SL calendar has a “bug” and I would receive an email from? to help. I have made numerous attempts to download with a person from SL. Please help! Send me one that works.
When my mom moved in with us, I needed a way to coordinate three adults’ schedules so everyone could see upcoming appointments. I don’t even use the other features (chores, lists). This main function is alone worth the price.
