I am extremely happy with my purchase, just wish I had done it earlier. Now my children can see what to expect on any day. The chore feature is awesome, they are finally doing what they are supposed to.

We are loving it! The kids are motivated to complete their chores! I love having the calendar available for everyone to see! I can type events into my google calendar on my phone and it syncs to the skylight calendar. Amazing!!

For the price, I expect more capability (for example it will easily allow you to show only one calendar but you cannot easily hide a single calendar and leave the remaining calendars showing. It’s possible, but it’s not quick or convenient)

Ummm, it's just a big Google Calendar

I get it, I knew in advance that it was just a calendar on a wall and I did wait to purchase until it had the two way google calendar feature (add it on the frame and it shows up on your mobile calendar). But the other 2 selling points were the chore list and the meal planner and those are what put it over the top. As I have a separate paper that I put the meal plans on and the kids look at it for every meal. Well, I was expecting the ability to put in a bunch of meals and then select them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This only has a dinner option and there is no extra functionality. You can't input a library of meals and select from there. Instead you pick the day and type in the meal. You have to do this same process over and over for each day. To me that's not an extra feature, as I could just put it as an "all day event" on my Google calendar and it would actually be more prominent bc it would actually show on the calendar and I wouldn't have to select a different option from the menu to see it. Lastly, the screensaver option is a pay service. I get this if you want to put your own pictures up, but if you don't pay there is not an auto time out option to save your screen. It's just on all the time, unless you set sleep mode, which is meant for the screen to be off during sleeping hours and then it won't alert you with notifications. However, I have mine set for it to be asleep most of the day so that I don't get screen burn in, which then takes away from the beauty and functionality of the calendar. Overall just not worth the pricetag unless there are some programming updates.

We've had our Skylight calendar for about a month now and we couldn't be happier. It has replaced our monthly calendar on the wall and even the previous calendar I use edon my phone. I love having everything in one spot, there's no need to check multiple calendars now! Wish I would have bought it sooner!!
