It is what I wanted in a calendar for the family to be able to connect and be on the same page. But that’s all it does, besides the chore thing that my children don’t use. There are things that would be so simple to make it so much better. Like a search feature. If you were looking for the last time, your child was at the doctors, you have to go week by week looking for it because there is no search feature to look it up. That’s a pain in the butt. Also, it’s a little bit tweaked in that it doesn’t automatically change to the day you’re on, you have to change the style of the screen and then back to the style you want in order for it automatically go to the correct date. I also wish the current day was maybe slightly highlighted. Sometimes when you’re glancing at it quickly, it’s not easy to go straight to the current date.

Good product with major shortcoming

The calendar interfaces with my Apple calendar perfectly but the one major shortcoming it has it there is no color separation of calendars imported. On my iPhone, I see multiple calendars in different colors but when they interface to Skylight, the color coding is lost. This is a major flaw since colors allow me to recognize which calendar I’m looking at (family, kid 1, kid 2, parents). Fix this and you get 5 stars.

Touchscreen and User Interface are ok

I bought this touchscreen to get rid of our paper calendar. navigating the actual user interface should be easier and the touchscreen is just OK. I would not recommend this to friends sadly… Because I had expected to. I also don’t understand what I’m paying for. What is the subscription even cover? Online calendars are on everyone’s phones.

I LOVE my skylight! It was so easy to set up and sync all the calendars in my family (we have 5 between all the personal and work ones). My husband agrees that it’s more than worth the cost!
