almost perfect!

I have been eyeing the Skylight calendar for quite some time. After a family scheduling snafoo over the weekend, I bought two to get our family life in order. I am a full time working mom with 3 kids under the age of 6 and married to a physician. As the default parent, I was in need of something to alleviate the pressure of being the only person in the family who knew what was in the schedule.
This device is mostly perfect- it integrates different calendars seamlessly, the magic import is awesome, and the ability for non family members (e.g. nanny) to add items to the schedule is elite.
One issue with the device is that you cannot have two calendars displaying the same exact information without considerable effort. As a working mom, I need one calendar in my office and one at home that display the same information. At the moment, this is not possible. Secondly, I work on a university campus, and so I cannot log into wifi because it is a user/pw signin.
I am still very happy with the device and am hopeful the team will continue to update to improve its usability.

Great product

skylight is perfect for a busy family! chore chart is awesome. only complaint is I wish you could keep track of chores they missed for allowance. you can go back and see what was not checked of though. Bottom line, great product, would buy again and have already told friends and family. we also bought a google and echo show 15. This was hands down the best out of the 3!

trouble syncing kids sports from other apps

I am not able to sync kids sports/activities calendar onto skylight including SportEngine, TeamSnap, and the like. Syncing is the biggest issue, so then I have to manually insert everything which takes too much time.

Chore Chart

I love the Skylight for the Calendar Consolidation access it offers as a Mom of three it really helps me to stay organized with appointments and events. So I have zero complaints there. My big complaint is the chore chart. It is a pain to me to add chores to it. I thought maybe it might be easier to set up through the website but unfortunately you don't have access to the chore chart section and can only do it through the app or on the device itself. To me this is tedious especially considering there isn't some already pre-made options like there are with the grocery list. It's not like I'm out of touch with technology either, I'm a Millennial, if I don't understand something technology wise then I will google or youtube it. I would equate adding these on the app or device to T9 texting. Is it impossible? NO. But is it a huge inconvenience and takes forever to do? YES

It syncs with absolutely everything, including our work calendars that never synced with iCal or any other app before. Huge help keeping our family organized!
