Easy and Compact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nutribullet chull ice cream maker has been a great addition to our summer activities! You do have to plan your ice cream making ahead of time, you need to prep and freeze the base for your ice cream at least 24 hours in advance. Other than that, the ice cream comes out super soft, just how I personally like it. The machine is very compact so it fits nicely on our countertop, or is easily stored away in a cabinet. All the parts, except the base, are dishwasher safe, making it an easy cleanup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never made ice cream before. It was pretty easy using this Nutribullet Chill Ice Cream Maker. Just put all ingredients in and press a button and it does its things. Kinda noisy. And it’s heavy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall great appliance! I absolutely love the clean, sleek, and modern design. The design alone sets this product well above market standards. I’ve owned competitors similar appliances and I’ve got to be honest here, nutribullet leads the market here for efficiency as well. Their blade is a game changer. I believe the blade and power set its standards apart from the others and makes it a top dog. From a woman with an appliance cabinet dedicated to all her appliances this little baby is a great size! It’s very well designed, I also appreciate the suction cups to the bottom of it!! It’s the little things.

Making ice cream with fresh ingredients is the best !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NutriBullet Chill Ice Cream Maker is nice and compact and does not take up lots of space in my pantry. I noticed that using the recipes in the manual did much better for making ice cream that some random ones on the internet. I started using the ones in the manual and varied the flavors and made some really good ice cream varieties. Storing the ice cream after I used the cups it came with and think I will get more after so I can have a variety made in my freezer. Its really nice to be able to make ice cream that doesn’t have any extra added ingredients. It tastes so fresh! The noise while making it is similar to a blender and it mixes the ice cream so quickly that the noise is not an issue. All I can say is this is perfect for summer or just having around all year to make fresh ice cream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic product! It’s compact so storage is easy and it doesn’t take up much counter space. The touch screen is nice and doesn’t over complicate things. I have used it for ice cream which is good but I would say is more soft serve consistency ( I think because the blade can get warm when mixing) as well as açaí bowls. The containers are great because they hold what I would consider 2 servings so you can have leftovers! Overall a wonderful and convenient product!! Would highly recommended

So quick and simple to use!!!

I love my ice cream and gelato desserts, and this NutriBullet Chill makes desserts that taste so much better than store bought! My first attempt with it, it took me a minute or two to read through directions and figure out how to set up the cup and blade, but after figuring that out this is super simple to use. I tried Ricotta Cheesecake Gelato, and it was very simple to prepare and mix the day before, then took just a few minutes the next day to hook the cup up to the machine and make the gelato with the literal push of a button. It took maybe 2 minutes to make, then beeped and was ready to eat. The gelato was so delicious, my family loved it and it made enough for all of us! I would absolutely recommend this!

Easy, Delicious, and Quick- But Very Loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been testing this for several months and have made almost every recipe in the included digital cookbook.
I am a former professional baker and have been making homemade ice cream regularly for decades using a normal ice cream maker. I prefer a custard base, which is kind of a pain to make due to tempering eggs etc. Almost all the NutriBullet’s included recipes don’t contain eggs, and are thus much faster and easier to prepare. While many of the recipes were delicious on their own, I did find something lacking in the ice cream recipes specifically. They tasted good, but reminded me more of grocery store ice cream than homemade. If you are not accustomed to homemade, this machine’s ice cream would be phenomenal!
However, I have found the ease of use and time savings of this machine to outweigh a slightly disappointing product, and have not used my old machine at all since I got this one. Overall, it is an excellent way to make a variety of tasty cold treats easily and quickly, and I would recommend it.
Pros:
1. Convenient, easy, and fast. Most recipes are simply dumping all the ingredients into the blender cup and freezing. It takes minutes and there is minimal cleanup.
2. This provides delicious results, particularly the fruit sorbets which are the perfect silky texture!
3. The device itself has an attractive and sleek modern design and setup consists of merely plugging it in. It is also high quality, and I have no doubt it will last a long time. I especially appreciate the suction cups on the bottom of the machine to prevent movement.
4. The machine settings are fast, and seem to range from 3-6 minutes. No churning for 30-45 minutes like a regular machine.
Cons:
1. It is LOUD. By far the loudest appliance I own. So loud it hurts my ears to be in the same room. Our house is small so I have to go outside when I turn this on, seriously. Thankfully the settings are short.
2. Two of the recipes I made did not mix well. There were areas of ice chunks that were grainy and not the same smooth consistency as the rest. The lemon sorbet, for example, was completely inedible, and I had to throw it away. I don’t think this was the result of user error.
3. The parts are all mostly hand wash, which for me is a con.
4. It is slightly large in size and takes up a fair amount of storage space.
5. The cups are kind of small, but the perfect amount for two people. Normally when I make ice cream it is for a special occasion or celebration, so there is a group of people. It is possible to make a double batch using both cups, but even then it is not enough for more than 4-6 people.
