Cute Idea, But Very Hard For My Kids To Pedal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m always looking for outdoor toys for my active kids, so I was excited for them to try this ride-on tractor. My boys loved the bright blue color and were excited to take turns on it. It also seems durable so far and has held up well being kept outside in the backyard and exposed to the California elements.
Unfortunately, it didn’t work out as well as we had hoped. My five-year-old’s legs were already too long for it, and my three-year-old didn’t really have the strength to pedal it properly. In my opinion, the pedals are in a strange position and it’s hard for my kids to get enough traction, even on the cement. They would get frustrated with it pretty quickly after each attempt to ride it and quickly lose interest.
It also doesn’t steer very easily, which added to the frustration. They mostly wanted to be pushed around on it by an adult, but there’s no parent handle or feature for that.
Overall, I think it’s a really cute concept, but I think the design makes it harder to actually use than it should be.

So much fun!

Its a beautiful blue which is his favorite color at the moment. A very sturdy pedal tractor. Can go thru the grass or on the side walk which is great for our big yard!

Strudy design but a bit tricky to maneuver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DOLU Ranchero Pedal Tractor is a total hit with my son. Putting it together was fast and easy, only taking about 10 minites. The bright blue color is stunning and stands out nicely. Its a bit hard to steer and doesnt seem to maneuver very well, which is the only downfall. Other than that, it is a nice and sturdy pedal toy which provides hours of play.

Better suited for smaller children

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pedal tractor is a really cool idea! It is advertise for children three years and up, but I think it would be better suited for smaller children that know how to pedal. My child is three years old and is a bigger child so the tractor does seem a bit too small for him. His knees continued to hit the steering wheel area, making it hard for him to steer.
It came with all of the parts necessary to put together except for a mallet. The mallet was needed to secure the wheels, and I believe the design would be much better if a different type of hardware was used. If you didn’t hammer the piece onto the bar exactly flat, it was hard to get the other wheel in place. There wasn’t extra pieces to hammer into which should be considered in case a piece is hammered incorrectly and a new top piece needs replaced. The instructions were also just pictures. Some wording would have helped.
Overall, my child really liked this and I’m glad I have another child who is much younger so that they can possibly get more use out of it than my three-year-old will.

Such a fun toy !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this pedal tractor for my son and he absolutely loves it ! First of all the pedaling is perfect for his little legs , he can control the speed easily and it really helps him build coordination and strength. I have noticed he is much more confident in it than I expected. The design is super cute and realistic. He loves pretending he is on a real farm and the horn is such a fun touch it makes the play more interactive. The bright Blue color looks great an honestly it even nice sitting in the backyard. Maintenance has been breeze so far . I wipe it down now and then after outdoor play it still looks almost new. The materials feels sturdy and durable so I’m not worried about it breaking even with his rough play. The wheels rolls smoothly over grass and even a little gravel when surprised me for a toy this size . Assembly was straightforward and quick I had it ready for my son to ride in under 20 minutes . Definitely recommend for any little adventurer !

He can steer this own his own and learning to pedal !! We cannot wait for it to warm up outside to ride , also it has a horn !!! He absolutely adores love the shape and the material for a toddler !!!

Super cute and teachable toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well made and really easy to assemble. All you do is pop in the wheels and go about playing. It’s a pedal bike so be prepared to either push your child or teach them how to move their feet. It’s not that easy to navigate since they’re learning alot of steps for this product. It’s really big for littler kids but my 4 year olds seemed to be fine in it but was a learning curve to it

Ready for summertime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Four out of five for fun factor - my daughter loves it, but she can’t quite figure out the pedals just yet, but that’s still new to her! Three out of five for assembly. The illustrations didn’t show the parts very well, but we were able to figure it out. It’s a good size, but a lot of the parts were plastic instead of metal, so we’ll see how well it holds up. Look forward to using this all summer.
