The kettle is a good value. It takes a very short time to come to temperature. My only concern is the lid's construction. It feels loose and I am concerned it will not last long. Only time will tell.

2nd Chefman Kettle!

I use our stainless steel electric kettle 6 times a day, at the minimum. It could have been 15% more expensive and I would still say it’s worth every penny. If I had a dollar for every minute saved that would have been dedicated to cleaning, I’d have enough money to buy a sizable share of Chefman’s stock. When my partner purchased an additional glass kettle for upstairs, I was and still am, THRILLED!

Fast means fast

Just tried to use it for the first time to make sure it wasnt broken. Great news! It does in fact work and its faster than I was expecting. Saftey feature for the automatic shut off makes a nice click loud enough for you to hear it with mild noise in the background.
