The tea kettle makes a mess and spills over when filled to the max line as indicated. I tried returning it to the store but I wasn’t able to because I don’t have the box.

So far, after only one use, I am quite happy with the kettle. Having a glass carafe allows me to see the progress of the boil.

perfect sized electric kettle

This is my third electric kettle. The first one wasn't glass and it was hard to see how much water is left in it. So I got a glass one for my boyfriend's place. I really liked it so I got this one to replace the metal one and I love this smaller sized one. Boils fast and easy to use and light weight.

Handle suddenly came off -DANGEROUS

I used this electric kettle for over a year, but the handle suddenly came off while I was about to pour hot water into a cup. I almost got seriously burned.
I understand that a glass kettle could break if it is dropped or hit, but I never expected the handle to suddenly come off during normal use. It was very dangerous and could have caused a serious burn injury.
I had no choice but to buy the same kettle again, and I really hope the handle on this new one will not come off.
