Registration process issues

When registering my new electric kettle, the model number is RJ11-10-GMRL-WM but the dropdown on the form has a -DS at the end. No explanation as to the difference so I had to use the model number for registration.
Also, I had filled out details on the form and then used the help to find the model number link. It opened a new tab. When I used the return to form button on that tab, it appeared that the for was cleared. I filled out the form again and got an error message when attempting to register. Unknown to me, the original tab was still open. Once I closed all tabs except for the original tab, I was able to register with the -DS model number. Hopefully my kettle is registered correctly.

Worked well for a few days and today I have a huge water mess from the pitcher that I only a little over .50 filled. Keeps on leaking will not be using again.
